Performance Measurement Systems in Continuous Improvement Environments: Obstacles to Their Effectiveness

نویسندگان

چکیده

The implementation of an effective performance measurement system (PMS) is essential in organizations seeking continuous improvement and sustainability, especially the context Industry 4.0. However, a number barriers/obstacles hampers this effectiveness. For example, inclusion indicators without practical use, or presenting absurd results, are frequent industry, leading people to distrust devalue such systems. main research question study is: What obstacles systems organizations? These will be identified categorized, some conditions required eliminate/mitigate them explored. A systematic literature review carried out, according PRISMA methodology, identify most factors referred as PMS effectiveness, due their negative influence on implementation, use maintenance these This resulted identification 175 that were then classified into 19 types divided 6 categories, whose definition was inspired by 6M approach usually associated with Ishikawa diagrams. Then, relationships between explored investigated order interdependencies may further effectiveness PMS. Solutions methodologies can help mitigate/eliminate impact also identified.

Continuous quantum measurement in spin environments

We derive a formalism of stochastic master equations (SME) which describes the decoherence dynamics of a system in spin environments conditioned on the measurement record. Markovian and non-Markovian nature of environment can be revealed by a spectroscopy method based on weak quantum measurement (weak spectroscopy). On account of that correlated environments can lead to a nonlocal open system w...

Performance Measurement in Dynamic Environments

There has not been a uniform agreement regarding what constitutes “good” performance for evolutionary algorithms in dynamic environments. A performance measurement method should, as a minimum, have an intuitive meaning and provide straightforward methods for statistical significance testing of comparative results. In this paper we attempt to resolve some issues related to EA performance measure...
